Dr. Steven E. Arnold is a board-certified Primary Care physician specializing in Sports Medicine. Dr. Arnold completed his medical degree at the University of South Alabama College of Medicine in Mobile, Alabama. He then completed his residency in Family Medicine at Ascension St. Vincent’s in Jacksonville, Florida. He completed his Primary Care Sports Medicine Fellowship at Ascension St. Vincent’s in Jacksonville, Florida.
Dr. Arnold was awarded the Family Medicine Resident Teaching Award, a testament to his commitment and passion for medical student and resident education. During his fellowship, he gave multiple lectures and case reports on sports medicine topics, including “My chest hurts: Pectoralis Major Tear in a 15-year-old tennis athlete,” which has been approved for publication in the journal of Current Sports Medicine Reports, as well as “Ultrasound Evaluation of the Anterior Hip and Iliopsoas Tendon” for the American Medical Society of Sports Medicine.
Dr. Arnold’s areas of interest include ultrasound-guided injections, diagnostic musculoskeletal ultrasonography, and regenerative medicine. Dr. Arnold focuses on helping patients get back to full activity, safely and quickly.
Dr. Arnold enjoys saltwater and freshwater fishing, cooking, running, and playing golf in his spare time.
